With 80% of government-run educational institutions incorporating sports education into the curriculum, Ladakh UT boasts a pool of over 3000 students ready to be trained as football players.
Ladakh Football Association (LFA), founded in 2019, is the governing body affiliated with the All-India Football Federation (AIFF). Oversees organized football, both amateur and professional, and prepares teams for national competitions.
To promote and develop football in Ladakh, fostering a culture of excellence, unity, and passion for the sport. Elevate and promote sports in Ladakh UT for social equality, empowerment, and inclusiveness.
Provide a platform for the growth of football by organizing high-quality tournaments, nurturing talented players, and building strong infrastructure.
